After receiving the shipment, we dove right into the box to check out the goodies. The Turbo Wing is the key piece of the bundle, as it is the base of all the additional options that XLAB offers. It can be positioned 15 different ways, which helps you determine the best position to fit your personal reach. The turbo wing also has zero drag in certain positions, so it won't slow you down.

On our turbo wing, we hooked up two Gorilla Cages, which are top quality cages. They are specifically designed to prevent the bottles from being ejected on bumpy, rough rides. We put these to the test, and could not shake a bottle even on the sketchiest pavement. They are 2X stronger than regular carbon cages because they are designed with higher shouldered carbon gripping fingers. The Gorilla Cages are also easy to use when riding. They feature a flared entry that ensures the fastest bottle insertion after a drink. Definitely play around with the positioning of the turbo wing and cages before going on your ride, to find what spot is right for you.

The add-on features are where you can customize your bike to suit your needs. We were sent a number of different add-ons to help speed of flat repair. The Turbo Wing features easy and convenient storage for multiple CO2 cartridges, tubes, and additional accessories. One that is worth picking up is the Nano Inflator. Just twist it on top of a CO2 cartridge and tube, and you will be inflated in 1-2 seconds, a small piece that can go a long way to saving valuable time.
