Triathlon Business International Announces Sold Out Triathlon Pavilion at Interbike

San Diego, Calif. -Triathlon Business International (TBI), an industry organization dedicated to promoting the sport and the business of triathlon, today announced that the booth space in the Triathlon Pavilion at the upcoming Interbike tradeshow in September has sold out. The new 10,000 square foot space centrally located on the main upper level of the show floor will host 30 triathlon-specific companies, and feature educational workshops from category experts and networking areas for retailers, brands and the media to learn about Triathlon Business International and its mission to support the industry.

"As someone who has exhibited at Interbike for 22 consecutive years, I am excited that Triathlon Business International and other organizations in the sport of triathlon will be making a significant presence at this year's tradeshow," said Emilio De Soto, Founder and CEO of De Soto Sport and TBI board member. "Triathlon has played a very important role in the cycling industry for a quarter of a century, and it is great to finally get the recognition it deserves at the premier cycling show in the U.S."

Earlier this year, TBI and Interbike entered into an exclusive partnership to considerably expand their joint efforts to promote the multisport industry. Under the terms of the agreement, Interbike created the new Triathlon Pavilion and in exchange it is designated the official triathlon trade event by the industry association.

"Triathlon is such an important part of our industry and the Triathlon Pavilion will offer a ton of benefits to retailers - including some great education from industry veterans," said Pat Hus, Managing Director for Interbike. "TBI is a first class organization that we're certainly proud to be partnering with and look forward to growing our relationship in the near future."

Dan Empfield, publisher of Slowtwitch.com and founding member of Triathlon Business International, will be presenting in the Triathlon Pavilion along with other multisport experts.

"The interest we've had from companies wanting to exhibit in the Triathlon Pavilion has been considerable and we are still getting requests," said Jack Caress, President of Triathlon Business International. "We look forward to playing a major role at Interbike in September and for years to come."
